Fees and Cancellation Policy

FEES:

Fees represent payment for my professional knowledge and experience and out of session or between-session consultations work that was done that support our therapeutic relationship.

All appointments are 55 minutes long. I have a few slots that I reserve for people with financial hardships.

LATE CANCELLATION POLICY:

I have a 48-hour cancellation policy which would allow me to offer your cancelled time to another client who may be waiting for an appointment.

  • If you are unable to give me 48 hours advance notice, you will be charged the full amount for your appointment.
  • If your appointment is on a Monday, the notification must be received on or before Friday.
  • You need to pay for the cancelled appointment before your next scheduled appointment.

This cancellation policy is standard in the medical and mental health fields and will be strictly enforced. The only time I will waive this fee is in the event of serious or contagious illness or emergency.

ARRIVING LATE:

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

Appointments are 55 minutes long and if you arrive late your session will be shortened to accommodate others whose appointment is after yours.

For example, if you are 10 minutes late, I will see you for 45 minutes. When you arrive, we will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a session. You will still be responsible to pay for the session regardless of the length of time or if treatment is given.

NO-SHOWS:

If you “forget” or choose not to attend an appointment for whatever reason you will be considered a “no-show” and will be charged the full fee.
